Angel has surpassed a full week of time at the luxurious spa at UAB. If she stays another week, they promise her a free weekend of pampering on her next stay.
The hospital stay seems to have subsided the contractions and haulted further dilation. While it is certainly a benefit to the triplets to cook for a few more days, Momma has had about enough of the discomforts brought on initially by original sin, and presently by three babies that are not so sensative to their mother's ribs.
She is still at 4cm, which is where she was when we were admitted last Monday, and she only has occasional contractions. Although the full moon does not seem to be living up to the old wives' tales of inducing labor, the doctor assures us they will be born at a time that is "the most inconvenient". That time may be later today, and it could be later next week, but if Angel makes it to 36 weeks, the doctors will allow her to gestate no longer.
