action shot

When Mommy said to say "cheese", Wells misunderstood and thought she said "spit all dairy products currently in the first level of your digestive tract onto your cute, fancy outfit". What an imagination that kid is going to have.

Holland would like to offer the opportunity to anyone available to pick her up and cuddle...right now please!

bench time

Our family was able to take a stroll at the Botanical Gardens this weekend and the triplets got to see Lawson's bench. They snoozed during the visit, but we look forward to many more visits in the years ahead. Thanks to all our gracious friends who donated the bench.

ho ho ho!

Saint Nick may not be the reason for the season of joy upon us, but the kids sure look cute in his lap.

does size matter?

We are not saying Wells has a big head, but the same size of hat does not exactly fit all three the same. Last week at the pediatrician, Wells was a whopping 8 lbs, 3 oz, and Anne Lawson and Holland were right behind him at 7 lbs, 15 oz, and 7 lb, 10 oz, respectively.

rub a dub dub...

...three finches fresh from the tub. Anne Lawson, Wells and Holland were glad to be clean, but even more relieved to be out of the tub and into a cozy, warm towel. Holland was the only one that seemed to actually enjoy her bath.

out for a stroll

To celebrate the triplets' two week birthday we broke in the new stroller. What a spectacle the Finches were on Thursday while cruising down Highland Avenue with the entire family. Bo and Bleu are excited to have their Mommy back in walking form.

lined up and ready

Although Anne Lawson does not seem anxious, her brother consoles her at their first visit to the pediatrician. Dr. Doyle confirmed what we already suspected...they are all perfect. Current stats are Wells - 5 lbs, 1 oz, 19 inches; Anne Lawson 4 lbs, 14 oz, 18.25 inches; Holland 4 lbs, 9 oz, 18.5 inches.

goodbye UAB

Holland got released from the hospital today. Her feedings continue to improve and she is holding her temperature well. She can hardly wait to be reunited with her brother and sister. She is trying her best to show her enthusiasm by clapping her little hands.

safely sleeping at home

Anne Lawson and Wells are glad to be resting so comfortably at home. They hope their sister Holland can join them in a few days.

drivin and cryin

Wells is not so sure about this new contraption he is getting to ride home in.

tiny contemplations

Anne Lawson spends her last few moments at the hospital contemplating what life will be like in her new home. With two shots as farewell gifts from the nurses, she is more than happy to go home.

cuddle bunny

Wells likes to get cozy with his little bunny blanket. Although babies this old can only focus on objects less than one foot away, we swear he is looking at us when his eyes are open.
Although we thought Anne Lawson was coming home today, the doctor was more comfortable keeping her one more night. She and Wells may get to go home together. Angel and I are anxious to get them all home, but we know if they come home too early, we may wind up right back at the doctor, so we are just enjoying the well qualified babysitters at UAB.
