gimme an "A"

A-Day 2007...the kids stormed the field after the game. All of their practice learning to say "War Eagle" and cheer for the Tigers paid off.

A.L. tries to hide, but it is not hard to see how much fun she is having at Kindermusik.

go fly a kite

The Jones came over to our big, back yard (aka Caldwell Park) to take advantage of a gorgeous, windy day.

Our friend Mary Holland explains to Anne Lawson that she must be at least "this tall" to play with her ball.

happy birthday MeMe

MeMe celebrates another birthday (we won't tell how many) with her sweet girls. Holland is SO excited.

busted

Holland is caught red handed trying to steal pansies from our neighbor's porch.

pick up girls

Holland and A.L. got to frolic in Uncle Nick's pick up truck. I think there may be a country song about that?

all dressed up

What do you mean? We always dress like this to dig in the dirt at our neighbor's house.

Family photos are fun, but are quite a challenge.

good hygiene

Wells insisted he wash his hands twice in the fountain before lunch.

fancy meal

The kids celebrated cousin Sophia's baptism with some delicious pizza at Bottega.

warm hats

Holland struts through the neighborhood.

This train is pulling out. Everybody hang on.

Are these hats really cute, or are they just funny looking?

coliseum experience

Wells: Can you believe Daddy got us our own box seats?
A.L.: This is great, but I cannot wait until football season.
Holland: War Eagle!

The kids made their debut at the Mississippi St basketball game. Unfortunately, it was a losing effort for the Tigers, but we managed to eat lots of popcorn.

race day

Congratulations to Hank who ran his fastest half-marathon, ever. This is the second year Hank has participated in the Mercedes Marathon in memory of our precious baby Lawson. Thanks to all of our dear friends and family that gave so generously. Hank was able to exceed his goal and raised over $2K for the Bell Center.

Mom holds up A.L. to cheer on the brave souls.

Who would not be motivated to run a half marathon with this wild and crazy crew cheering you on?

Melanie and Barrett were especially cheery for 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning. Wells and A.L. had the prime seats in their wagon.
