Che Che and Landon joined us for Art in the Park back in April (boy it has been a long time since Daddy blogged).  The art was interesting, but most of our time was spent in the fountain.

Mommy was a bit scared to go by herself, so Anne Lawson stepped up and comforted her on their ride on "Dude", one of the camels at the Bham Zoo.

While her leg may (or may not) be broken, Holland's spirit is as lively as ever.

Her injury is not even keeping her from her kitchen duties.

Doc (Libby and Wayne's new pup) did what he could to keep Holland in a good mood.

Holland enjoyed her last few treats just before falling off the bed and hurting her leg.  The orthopedic doctor could not definitively see a break, but assumed the worst and put a cast on leg, which she gets to wear for at least two weeks.

Anne Lawson and Wells did not mind joining Daddy in the chilly surf.

It's a good thing we had Uncle Nick to show Wells how to fly a kite.  Daddy did not have so much success.

The sun was bright, but the wind kept the girls from showing too much skin on our recent beach trip.

At the last minute, we decided Sunday was a great day for a quick trip to Auburn to watch the Tigers play a little basketball.




Wells could hardly wait to see Aubie.


Climbing up and down steps was enough entertainment for the girls.

This is Hank's third year to run and raise money in Lawson's memory. We appreciate his hard work and dedication. It was Hank that inspired Angel to run.

Melissa will always have a special place in our hearts, and it was a tremendous honor for her to join the cause and run on behalf of Lawson. Her son, Garrett (pictured), is the same age as Lawson would be. Melissa was one of the ICU nurses that would have been caring for Lawson after his heart surgery and has become a dear friend.

Angel is still fresh at mile 10. She kicked it into gear the last 3 miles and finished the half-marathon in 1:59:09.

Wayne and Wells managed to avoid the crash, but Anne Lawson and Mommy wiped out pretty hard. Everyone was fine, just a little snowy/muddy.
